Terms of Service

1. Who can enrol

Courses are designed for students aged 8–18. Enrolment, account creation, and payment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on the student’s behalf and remains the account holder.

2. What we provide

Live, small-group online classes, project-based coursework, access to the student dashboard, and a public Demo Day presentation at the end of each course. Schedules, batch sizes, and course content are described on the Programmes page and may be reasonably adjusted to improve the learning experience.

3. Payments and refunds

• Fees are stated in INR and converted for display in other currencies; the INR amount governs.
• Instalment plans, when offered, are described at checkout for the specific course.
• If your child does not enjoy the first two weeks of a course, you may withdraw and receive a full refund of course fees paid, no questions asked. After two weeks, refunds are pro-rated at our discretion.
• Missed classes can be recovered via recordings or catch-up sessions; they are not individually refundable.

4. Class conduct

We are committed to a safe, respectful classroom. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may lead to a conversation with parents and, if unresolved, removal from the course with a pro-rated refund. Classes may be recorded for revision and quality purposes; recordings are shared only with enrolled families.

5. Student work and intellectual property

Students own the projects they build. We may showcase student work publicly only with written parental consent (see our Privacy Policy). Course materials, curriculum, and teaching content remain the property of Own Sandbox and may not be redistributed or resold.

6. Accounts and the dashboard

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure. We may suspend accounts used in a way that harms other students or the service. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing ajay@own-sandbox.com.

7. Liability

We provide the service with care and skill, but to the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the course concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve any concern directly first — write to ajay@own-sandbox.com.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders by email and the date above will be updated.
